Four walks that start and finish in our car park

Every one starts and finishes at the pub. The distances are measured from the real paths, not guessed, and the paths are checked against the county’s own rights of way. Park with us, walk, and come back in for lunch.

Park with us, walk, and come back in. The kitchen is open Wednesday to Saturday, 12pm to 2:30pm, and this is the short list that goes out quickest while lunch is running.

If You Walk At Another Time
Sunday, 12pm To 3pm
Sunday Lunch is on, and it is the busiest table of the week. Book it before you set off, not when you get back.
Wednesday To Saturday, After 2:30pm
The kitchen closes at 2:30pm and opens again at 6pm. The bar stays open, so until then it is a pint, a tea or a coffee rather than a plate.
Monday And Tuesday
The kitchen is closed all day and the bar opens at 5pm. The car park is still yours for the walk.
Dogs And Boots
  • Dogs are always welcome. Bring them in with you.
  • Muddy boots are fine. Come in as you are.
  • Ask at the bar for a bowl of water for the dog.
Book A Table Before You Set Off

Walks take between an hour and two hours, and the kitchen shuts at 2:30pm. A table held for your way back is the difference between lunch and a packet of crisps.
